Defending champion Temple and the runner-up Colonials have been picked to win the women’s basketball Atlantic 10 East and West respectively, the conference announced Monday. The Colonials return four starters, including A-10 Rookie of the Year Ugo Oha, and will debut this season ranked 20th in the nation by the Associated Press.

A-10 coaches selected this year’s pre-season All-Conference teams Wednesday. Junior Forward Erica Lawrence was named first-team All-Conference. Senior forward Elena Vishniakova was named to the second-team All Conference, and junior guard Lindsey Davidson was named third-team All Conference.

Freshman Liz Dancause and Greeba Outen Barlow were named to the pre-season All-Rookie team.
