The GW women’s soccer team dropped its first Atlantic 10 Conference game in grueling fashion as Richmond midfielder Meredith Johnson scored the game-winner at the 1:06.37 to give Richmond a 3-2 win.
GW freshman Meghan Cracker scored her first collegiate goal at the 11:02 mark of the first half. Jessica Sultzer gave GW (2-4, 0-1 A-10) a 2-1 lead with a goal at the 26-minute mark, but it was short-lived as Richmond scored twice more.
