GW women’s basketball guard Kristeena Alexander attended a WNBA pre-draft camp at the Moody Bible Institute Solheim Center in Chicago April 5-6. The WNBA invited top graduating players from across the nation to participate in drills and full-court games.
The first round of the WNBA draft is Friday and will be televised on espn2.
Alexander led the Colonials in the 2000-01 season with her dogged aggressiveness and averaged more than nine points a game. The guard finished the season with 181 assists, averaging about six assists a game.
Alexander scored 10 points in her final college game against Stanford University in the team’s NCAA first-round loss.
