Male on bike allegedly exposes genitals to females

Two women separately reported that a man on a mountain bike exposed his genitals to them Monday, and a similar incident was reported Wednesday, according to a GW Infomail alert.

The suspect, who allegedly flashed his genitals in front of Lerner Health and Wellness and near Philip Amsterdam Hall, is described as a “Hispanic male, mid to late ’20s, wearing a dark jacket (possible khaki) and blue jeans,” according to the alert. The University expects that the similar incident reported Wednesday is related, according to the Infomail.

Though the alert was posted Thursday evening, the e-mail was not sent out to students until around 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

A separate alert, also posted on the University’s Web site Thursday and sent Friday evening, concerns unauthorized access and burglary in Amsterdam Hall. Photographs of the suspects are posted in the alert, and the subjects are described as black males suspected to be in their teens.

University Police Chief Dolores Stafford could not be reached for comment Friday evening.
