Want to etch your name in the record books, without having to do something time consuming or preposterously dangerous? If your answer is yes, then the GW Spirit Program has a great opportunity for you.
Next Monday, Oct. 11, the GW Spirit Program will be hosting a game of knockout at the Smith Center, with the intention of setting a world record for the largest game of knockout ever. According to the Guinness Book of World Records website, the current record for number of players is 146, set last May by Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The event will go from 7 to 10 p.m. on the 11th, and the winner will receive a prize, although there’s no mention of what that prize might be.
You can check out the event on Facebook here, or you can register online with the GW Spirit Program here.
