Metropolitan Police Department officers are investigating a supposed bomb threat at the Watergate Hotel Tuesday afternoon.
An MPD spokesperson said the call came in at 2:26 p.m. and MPD officers were still investigating as of 4:42 p.m. A GW alert issued at around 4 p.m. said road closures impacted the 2500 through 2700 block of Virginia Ave. and told community members to avoid the area.
