A water main break on campus has prompted officials to block off part of 21st Street Tuesday, according to a GW Advisory.

Officials said they closed 21st Street between G and H streets for 24 hours as repair work unfolds at the site, according to the advisory issued just before 1 p.m. The advisory states vehicle owners should move their cars parked on either side of the street to avoid getting towed.

The notification was sent to on-campus residents and users of the GW Guardian app, the advisory states.
