The Spring Org Fair has been moved from its original date this Sunday due to the threat of “disruptive or violent events” unfolding this weekend, according to an email obtained by The Hatchet.

The Office of Student Life sent an email Thursday to student organization leaders, announcing the virtual fair’s postponement to Sunday, Jan. 31 from noon to 2:00 p.m. The email states there is no immediate physical safety concern associated with the fair.

“We hope this will offer students time and space for other needs this weekend,” the email states.

No action is needed to change virtual table information or RSVP, and the Engage event will be updated accordingly, according to the email.
