Dozens of protests against racism and police brutality have erupted across the United States and world over the past two weeks.
In the District, thousands flocked to Ward 2 and beyond over the past few days to respond to the recent police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, two black Americans. Similar demonstrations have taken place in various cities around the globe, and many are rolling into their second straight weekend as protesters push for an end to police violence and justice for the victims of police brutality.
