The Student Bar Association meeting Tuesday was canceled over concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
No bills were scheduled for debate or for vote on the senate’s agenda, according to SBA documents. The cancellation comes as D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser confirmed the first case of novel coronavirus, a Georgetown church rector, in a press conference Saturday.
“Unfortunately, due to concerns about COVID-19, the Senate meeting tonight has been canceled,” Executive Vice President Amanda Townsend said in an email.
