Hundreds of abortion rights demonstrators rallied outside of the Supreme Court Wednesday after justices heard June Medical Services v. Russo, a case that could shift abortion laws in the United States.
If the law is upheld it would create more abortion restrictions, and Louisiana would be left with one remaining abortion clinic. This is the first abortion case to be argued with the new appointees from President Donald Trump, Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch, resulting in a 5-4 conservative majority on the bench.
