Simple assault, threat to do bodily harm, theft on campus reported in one day

Three people committed separate crimes on campus Tuesday, according to reports from the Metropolitan Police Department.

MPD officers arrested Kyerra Lattimore, 18, at about noon for simple assault after “hitting and pushing” a woman, according to the report outside Staughton Hall. MPD officers also arrested Kirk Spencer, 25, at about 12:40 p.m. for threats to do bodily harm outside Staughton Hall, the report states.

Lattimore did not immediately return a request for comment and Spencer could not be reached for comment.

At about 6:40 p.m. a woman reported that someone entered CVS and left without paying for two phone chargers, two pre-made salads and a container of chips, according to an MPD report.

The case is open.
