An unknown suspect stole a woman’s wallet from her room at the GW Hospital and made fraudulent charges on her debit card Tuesday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 6 a.m., a woman left her hospital room to use the bathroom, the report states. When the woman returned from the bathroom, she noticed that her purse had been unzipped and her wallet – which held her credit cards, drivers license and social security card – was missing, according to the report.
The case is open.
