A group of men attacked a man outside of the GW Hospital Monday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

A man reported to MPD that he witnessed about 20 men “on top” of a man outside of the hospital at about 3:40 a.m. The reporting person activated his emergency lights and “everyone ran off in different directions” according to the report.

The man injured his eye and was transported to the hospital, the report states. The attacked man told MPD that the men did not steal any of his property, according to the report.
