The College of Professional Studies finished building a new film studio last week, according to a release from the school last Wednesday.

The studio is located on the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn, Va. The new space will help the school produce instructional videos to support the “growing demand for online learning,” the release states.

Online courses have accounted for more than half of the college’s revenue in recent years. Eight of the 31 graduate and undergraduate programs in CPS can be completed online without having to travel to GW campuses.
