GW Police Department officers are searching for a suspicious person “on the loose” who entered the women’s restroom on the first floor of Rome Hall Friday.

Officials sent out a GW Alert at 5:15 p.m. describing the suspect as a black male between the ages of 40 and 45. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and wearing a black hat, sweatpants, a white shirt, a blue jean vest and black shoes, the release states.

The alert advised students not to approach the man and to call GWPD’s emergency line or 911 if he is spotted.
