GW Police Department officers arrested a man unaffiliated with the University early Thursday morning for sleeping in Monroe Hall, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 1 a.m., a housekeeper notified GWPD that a man was sleeping in Room 353 of Monroe Hall. Responding GWPD officers found Semir Hassen, 43, sleeping in the corner of the room, the report states.
GWPD then searched and handcuffed Hassen, who had been previously barred from campus.
