Hundreds of sorority women welcomed new members with cheers and songs for deferred recruitment in Kogan Plaza Tuesday night.
All formal Greek recruitment was moved to spring semester this year. Bid day was held in Kogan after the government shutdown restricted access to the National Mall, where the celebration is usually held.
