A lobbyist injured in the Alexandria, Va. shooting last week was released from GW Hospital Friday, the Washington Post reported.
Matt, a lobbyist for Tyson Foods, was discharged from the hospital after being treated for gunshot wounds to his chest and arm, according to a family statement cited by the Post.
Mika had been upgraded to good condition earlier Friday, GW Hospital spokeswoman Susan Griffiths said.
Jayson Werth, a Washington Nationals outfielder, visited Mika Thursday, Griffiths said in an email.
Mika arrived at the hospital in critical condition after a gunman shot him and several others at a Congressional baseball practice June 14.
Several people were hospitalized after the shooting including a Congressional aide, Capitol Police officers and House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise, R–La., who was shot in the hip.
