A woman was arrested for simple assault early Sunday morning after she allegedly threw an object at another man during an argument in Shenkman Hall’s food court, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

At about 1 a.m., the woman and man were arguing when the woman became upset and threw an unknown object, striking the man in the face, according to the report. The male did not have visible injuries and declined medical attention, according to the report.

The woman was transported to Second District station following the arrest.
