The University Police Department arrested a man for unlawfully entering the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities building Friday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 1:18 p.m., Jason Rosen, 22, allegedly entered Building YY on 20th Street, where the SRR office is located, through a locked door. SRR had previously barred Rosen from University property before the incident, according to the report.
The door had locked but Rosen entered as another was leaving, according to the report.
He was charged with unlawful entry and will appear in D.C. Superior Court on July 5, according to court records.
A witness saw the man in the building, but he left before UPD officers arrived. He was then arrested in front of 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. and transported to the Second District station.
