A student was arrested Thursday for possessing Xanax pills and a substance that tested positive as cocaine in International House, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.
At about 2:20 a.m., a subject was found with the cocaine substance, six Xanax pills, blotter paper, 243 Ziploc bags and $926 in cash, according to the report.
Alexander Kassin, 21, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, according to an MPD Second District report. Kassin is scheduled to appear in D.C. Superior Court for a hearing on May 31, according to the court’s website.
Kassin did not immediately return request for comment.
