An individual affiliated with the University reported an armed robbery at 2600 Virginia Ave., according to a GW Alert sent at 9:07 p.m. Saturday.

The University Police and Metropolitan Police departments are on the scene, according to the alert.

Three black men in their 20s robbed personal belongings from the affiliate, according to the alert. One male had a black cap and shirt, while another had a blue shirt and black shorts. A description for the third male was not provided.

The victim was not hurt, according to the alert.

The alert stated that people should avoid confronting subjects and call UPD or MPD if they have more information.
