Students gathered at the White House for a candlelight vigil on Saturday, November 12, following the election of Donald Trump earlier that week.
The purpose of the event was to show solidarity for marginalized communities concerned in the wake of the election.
“People who will be effected by [Trump’s] words will fight back,” said Ximena Diaz, sophomore.
