A resource for students to learn more about potential classes was accidentally removed from Blackboard – days before class registration begins.
University spokeswoman Maralee Csellar said the syllabus bank, where faculty members upload their syllabi from past courses, was accidentally removed from the site when a new message was posted to Blackboard. A student notified University officials on Monday about the removal and the syllabus bank has been returned to the website.
The accidental deletion of the syllabus bank came just days before class registration for the spring semester is set to begin, beginning on Thursday for some students, and continuing into the following weeks for all students.
In addition to the syllabus bank, students can find their course syllabi by clicking on the syllabus viewer on the Office of the Registrar’s website, which links to Blackboard’s bank.
