D.C.’s annual restaurant celebration is this week which, love it or hate it, means prix-fixed menus at many popular eateries all around the city. This means $22 lunches and $35 dinners at more than 200 restaurants in the D.C. area, if you can snag a table. Thanks to Winter Storm Jonas, Restaurant Week will last through Wednesday, Feb. 3. Here are some of the best deals near campus:
Firefly
Just a few blocks from campus, this restaurant prides itself on providing American comfort food. Restaurant Week fare includes mini pot roast, chicken matzoh ball soup and chocolate pot de crème for dessert. The Restaurant Week brunch, also priced at $22, features crawfish gumbo and french toast with apples and pears.
1310 New Hampshire Ave. NW. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m to 10 p.m.
El Centro D.F.
This Georgetown spot serves a killer tableside-prepared guacamole and hangar steak tacos. They also have a variety of creative margaritas, like spicy mango and prickly pear. A slightly larger Restaurant Week menu includes options like pork carnitas, grilled quesadillas and tacos.

Marrakesh Restaurant
Try something new with your eating and try Moroccan dishes like baba gannoush, lamb couscous and chicken tagine. Sit on Moroccan pillows and be sure to save room for baklava.

RIS
RIS is known for its adventurous cuisine. During Restaurant Week, try out a margarita with lime-marinated scallops, grilled prawns and lamington (a raspberry-filled sponge cake with coconut and chocolate glaze).

Kaz Sushi Bistro
A GW favorite, this casual Japanese restaurant serves authentic, contemporary cuisine. Try their Bento Box with salmon sashimi and a crunchy shrimp hand roll. For dessert, enjoy a ginger ice cream sandwich.

Urbana Restaurant
A beloved Italian restaurant in Dupont Circle, Urbana Restaurant cooks authentic pastas, vegetables and seafood.Try their tortellini with pumpkin-mascarpone filling, brown butter, sage and parmesan.
