Garino averaged 18 points per game – and, in fact, scored exactly 18 points in each game – as the Colonials won against No. 6 Virginia, South Florida and Army.
Garino shot 61.3 percent from the floor and was GW’s most consistent three point threat, hitting 4-of-7 from beyond the arc in that span. He was 7-of-8 from the floor on Monday against the Cavaliers, answering multiple Virginia runs.
This is Garino’s first-ever A-10 Player of the Week award, and the first for GW since Kevin Larsen took one home on Dec. 29, 2014.
