The owners of Georgetown’s Baked & Wired opened a sister restaurant, A Baked Joint, on K Street.

The restaurant is larger than the intimate Baked & Wired, with more coffee, tea and food options, including freshly baked bread.

“We still offer a lot of the [same] things as Baked & Wired, but we wanted it to be a little bit different,” Operations Director Tessa Velazquez said.

Velazquez’s parents opened Baked & Wired 14 years ago and A Baked Joint is also a family-owned business.
