GW Hospital has named George Sprinkel as the hospital’s chief financial officer, according to Becker’s Hospital Review.

Sprinkel has served as CFO at four different hospitals since 1999, including Baptist Health Care in in Pensacola, Fla. and, most recently, Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a MBA and a bachelor of science in finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

He will serve as the replacement for former CFO Richard Davis, who left GW Hospital in November 2012 to become senior vice president and chief financial officer of Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey.
