Locals flocked to the opening of the World We Want Wall, a chalkboard wall located on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast Washington, D.C.
The wall is an interactive exhibit where people write how they will change the world.
“‘The world we want’ is a very broad statement,” Lindsey Vance said, senior program manager at Project Create. “We’re hoping people take it upon themselves to figure out what it is about the world that they want to see.”
Think Local First D.C. partnered with the nonprofit organization, Project Create, to make this event possible.
The wall will be on display through September.
