Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department and the University Police Department continue to search for four black teenagers who attempted to steal a victim’s purse near the Smith Center early Friday morning.
The suspects attempted the robbery on 22 and F streets and then fled and boarded the Metro, according to a campus security alert sent at 12:10 a.m. Friday. The alert did not describe the victim.
The suspects were two female and two male teenagers. One of the female suspects was armed with a taser and wearing shorts. One of the male suspects was wearing a red shirt, according to the alert. There was no additional description for the other two suspects.
