Monday Mix
Kanye West is, of course, already the most talked-about artist of 2015. His new song, “Only One,” features the legendary Paul McCartney, and in light of their teaming up, we’ve compiled a playlist of our favorite collaborations.

Editors’ Picks

This week’s pick: “Earned It” by The Weekend
In the last month, Abel Tesfaye dropped his bombshell contribution to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie soundtrack and hosted a nationally televised party at Miami’s infamous Fontainebleau hotel for New Year’s Eve. It might not be the case for us all, but 2014 was kind to this alternative R&B artist.

This week’s pick: “The Goldfinch” by Donna Tartt
As if the Internet needs another New Year’s “reflection,” this week I’m sharing my favorite read of 2014. Published in 2013, Tartt’s “The Goldfinch” received the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction last April. The book has faced its fair share of criticism, but I found it immersive, thoughtful and bitingly funny. You be the judge.

This week’s pick: “All the President’s Men”
In light of the death of former Washington Post executive editor Ben Bradlee, I rented this classic on iTunes for $4. As reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein dig up evidence about the Watergate scandal, the events that unfold alter U.S. history. It’s an incredible film.
