A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car near the Foggy Bottom Metro stop on Friday.
The injuries were non-life threatening, D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Tim Wilson said. The accident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. at the corner of 23rd and I streets.
Earlier this month, a student was hit by a car near 21 and F streets and spent several days at the GW Hospital.
Last fall, the University also launched a pedestrian safety campaign with stickers on sidewalks reminding students to “look up.”
