As if D.C. needed another reason to replace those old Metro seats: Hundreds of underwear-clad Washingtonians will join Capitol Improv in a No Pants Subway ride this Sunday.

Packed in with Capitals fans headed to the Verizon Center and college kids lugging along their winter break suitcases, participants will ride for three hours before heading to Level One for a 21-and-up no-pants party.

The kicker? Acting as if you had no idea that you were missing pants.

The seven-time winter tradition started in 2002 with the NYC-based group Improv Everywhere.

Brave souls can meet at Hancock Park near L’Enfant Plaza Metro on Sunday (pants on) to start your three-hour experience.

Capitol Improv stresses that “if any figure of authority tells you to put your pants back on, do as they say.” So don’t forget to bring pants, just in case.
