Officials to clear homeless encampment near campus in May

GW stays open as city, federal government close

GW’s three campuses are open and operating on normal schedules for the second day of snow in the District.

City and federal D.C. government agencies and schools are closed for the day , and all evening activities are canceled.

Georgetown University and American University are closed, while Catholic University remains open.

GW’s Global Women’s Institute and We Belong Together to Host Gender-Based Violence Awareness Panel is cancelled .

Delays and cancellations are possible at Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport. Check with your airline for the most up-to-date information.

Still, the amount of snow in downtown D.C. likely won’t be as large as initially predicted, according to the Capital Weather Gang.
