GW main campuses remain open

Updated: Dec. 9, 2013 at 7:43 a.m.

The city and federal government D.C. agencies and schools will open two hours late Monday as chilly rain continues to soak the District.

GW delayed the opening of its Rockville, Md.-based biostatistics center, but all other locations remain open.

Across town, American University has closed its campus until 11 a.m., while Catholic, Georgetown and Howard universities remain open.

A storm warning from the National Weather Service remains in effect until 10 a.m. Monday, with temperatures predicted to rise above freezing by mid-morning.

It’s about 34 degrees in Foggy Bottom, with some areas in D.C. still reporting freezing rain.
