Metropolitan Police Department officers are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint Saturday at the corner of 22nd and L streets.
The suspect approached the woman at about 7:53 p.m. and allegedly snatched her property, MPD spokesman Paul Metcalf said. He then pulled out a gun and demanded more property before he fled on foot.
The suspect was a 6-foot-tall black man between 17 and 21 years old wearing a skull cap, according to a D.C. Alert.
