Two individuals who had previously been barred from campus, including a former student, were arrested Sunday for illegally entering Mitchell Hall.
University Police officers responded to a complaint in Mitchell Hall and arrested the former student, who was barred from campus last year but was living with her boyfriend in the residence hall, UPD Chief Kevin Hay said.
During the arrest, another person, who an area coordinator identified as someone else who had been barred from campus, entered the hall and struck the wall, telling officers to stop the arrest immediately. After confirming that he had been barred from campus, UPD officers arrested him.
