An anti-abortion group launched a video campaign this week targeting a late-term abortion clinic on F Street through undercover videos.
At least 75 protesters rallied outside of the clinic Wednesday to “stop the killing,” taking aim at one of the doctors, Cesare Santangelo, who is shown on tape saying that if an abortion resulted in a birth, he “would not help” the fetus.
While a federal law requires clinicians to take life-saving steps if fetus is “viable,” Santangelo is not shown doing anything illegal in the videos, his lawyer stressed to the Washington Post.
The group, Live Action, called on Santangelo to lose his license.
