University Police officers caught and arrested an alleged out-of-state fugitive Tuesday after a two-block foot chase on campus.
Kenneth Calvin Knight was wanted for larceny in Dauphin County, Penn. and has been linked to cell phone and laptop thefts on campus, UPD Chief Kevin Hay said.
UPD officer Ardell Francis sustained a knee injury during the chase, which began outside the Media and Public Affairs building. Francis was treated for the injury at the GW Hospital and is expected to recover soon, Hay said.
