Eric Cantor, House majority leader and alumnus, was re-elected to represent Virginia’s 7th district, according to the Washington Post.
The Republican, has represented Virginia since 2001. He received a B.A. for the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences in 1985.
Cantor is the number two Republican in the House of Representatives after Speaker John Boehner.
