Inaugural Ball tickets will go on sale a half hour earlier on Nov. 6 to accommodate class registration, which begins at 7 a.m. for students with more than 90 credit hours.
The tickets were originally set to go on sale at 7 a.m., but would have forced students, mostly seniors, to choose between registration and purchasing tickets. Students can purchase tickets online or in the Marvin Center.
The 2008 tickets sold out within 24 hours, though this year University will sell 5,500 tickets the first day, compared to 4,000 released on Election Day in 2008.
Tickets this election season are $100. GW charged $85 for tickets sold on Election Day in 2008, and more for students who bought tickets off the waitlist.
