Photos: Pure imagination and no inhibitions at first annual FIGMENT DC

The inaugural FIGMENT DC, a free, community-curated and interactive arts festival, took place Saturday at The Yards Park. Over 75 artists encouraged attendees to participate in a range of activities from creating aluminum foil sculptures to putting on puppet shows. Since its launch in 2007, FIGMENT has hosted festivals in major cities across the U.S., including New York, Detroit and Pittsburgh this year.
