Tired of the same old, same old? Spice things up this week with these events:

  • Learn how to perform the traditional Japanese tea ceremony Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. It will be demonstrated at the Japanese Information and Culture Center in an event called “Japanese Way of Tea.
  • Catch the last week of “Cherry Talks,” where National Park Service rangers will speak about the blooming trees at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. The free talks are held every day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

And here’s something unexpected:
Amanda Bynes was arrested Friday on suspicion of DUI. Oh, and her hair is pink.
