President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama announced Friday they will host the White House Easter Egg Roll April 9.
The 134-year-old tradition, which coincides with the first lady’s “Let’s Move!” initiative to combat childhood obesity, will include live music, sports, cooking, storytelling and Easter egg rolling.
The White House’s South Lawn will be open to children ages 13 and under to participate in the day’s activities along with their families.
An online lottery for tickets to the event will open March 1 at 10 a.m. and will close March 5 at 10 a.m.
