GW’s extensive population of students native to the tri-state area may finally be getting a taste of home.
WaWa, the gas station and convenience store chain popular in Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, hopes to expand into the D.C. area, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday.
WaWa Inc. recently opened a new location in the Baltimore area, and the closest location to D.C. is currently Beltsville, Md.
“We have several sites in the works,” Peter Galligan, WaWa Inc.’s vice president and chief real estate officer said. “We’re looking to fill out the D.C. and Baltimore corridor.”
