Women’s lacrosse senior midfielder Hilary Quinn was awarded Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced yesterday.
Quinn paced GW with five ground balls, adding eight draw controls and two caused turnovers in the Colonials’ two games last week. She recorded a team-high four ground balls, padding the stat sheet with six draw controls – matching her career-high – and two caused turnovers in GW’s season-opening 22-5 victory over Howard.Quinn also grabbed a ground ball and won two draw controls during GW’s 15-10 loss to Drexel.
The Colonials next host Long Island Saturday at 1 p.m.
