Is it November already? This semester is flying by, so here are some ways to make the most of it:
- Admission to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, which usually costs students $8, will be free until Saturday as part of the FotoWeek D.C. event.
-
This evening at 7 p.m., learn about the furry friends who have lived at the White House as William Bushong, vice president of historical research and new media at the White House Historical Association, talks about the history of presidential pets at the Washington Animal Rescue League.
- In the mood for jazz? Check out Kenny Wesley’s performance, “Tribute to Luther Vandross” at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Georgetown’s Blues Alley jazz hall. Tickets cost $20.
And here’s something not quite out of the ordinary:
Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 30 days in jail. She won’t, however, be serving the full term because of overcrowding in California jails. Shocker.
