The annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Dec. 1 and the lottery to win tickets opens this morning.
Hopeful attendees can enter in an online lottery for the chance to win one of the 17,000 tickets allotted for the ceremony. Participants can sign up at www.thenationaltree.org anytime between 10 a.m. today and 9:59 a.m. Nov. 7.
The winners will receive their tickets by Nov. 14.
