The Atlantic 10 released the women’s basketball conference matchups Thursday, rounding out GW’s schedule with seven of their 14 conference games in the Smith Center.

GW will kick off Atlantic 10 play Jan. 7, when it hosts Fordham in a game that will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The Colonials will also host La Salle, Saint Louis and Richmond.

“The competitive and local flavor of this schedule gives our loyal fans and followers a great opportunity to support our student-athletes and watch some great basketball this year,” head coach Mike Bozeman said. “The A-10 has evolved into one of the most balanced conferences in the nation, and we’re looking forward to a playing a non-conference schedule that will prepare us to compete within the league.”

The first conference travel trip for the program will fall on Jan. 11, when the team travels to Richmond. GW will also head to Rhode Island, Duquesne, St. Bonaventure, Temple, Massachusetts and Saint Joseph’s.
